Relationship Enrichment Workshop

A couple’s workshop! Join us for this fun, energizing opportunity to deepen connection in your marital relationship.

Can you answer yes to any of the following questions?  In your marriage:

  • Are you tired of the same old arguments coming up with your spouse, over and over again?  Do you often feel helpless to change this communication pattern?
  • Do you long to speak from your heart and have your spouse hear you and support you?
  • Are you happy together and excited by the idea of getting to know and support each other on even deeper levels?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, this program is for you!  In this workshop, you will learn:

  • The 5 secrets of loving communication
  • That a loving marriage is based on four relationships, not just one
  • Techniques to immediately change the painful patterns that have often become habitual ways of hurtful communication
  • The power of humor as a change agent
  • The 3 most common blocks to connection

Anger Management Class

Most anger management classes are cognitive in nature, which disregards emotions.  Our anger management class focuses on acknowledging and honoring emotions through both experiential and cognitive modalities.

Mindfulness Class

Mindfulness relates to being fully present in the moment.  For most of us, we are either somewhere in the past or the future.  Change occurs when we are fully present in the moment.  Learn how to manage the affects generated by past experiences and concerns regarding the future.

Essential Life Skills You May Never Have Learned

In this fun and engaging class, husband and wife psychotherapists, Mary Kay Rose and Gary Bass will share some of the wisdom they have learned over the course of their combined 64 years experience helping people cope with change and live creatively.  In a series of four 2-hour classes we will discuss the following topics:

  • Creating Graceful Change through Mindful Awareness:  The one certainty in life is change, and change is certainly happening now!  Do you know how to move through it effectively?  In this class, we will discuss essential skills for managing the ever present process of change.
  • Relationships – They are Everything and Everywhere:  Relationships can create both joy and stress.  Learn the secret to successful relationships – effective communication with yourself and with others.
  • In the Footsteps of a Child: What do kids do naturally that most adults have forgotten?  They have fun, they laugh a lot and they use their wonderful, creative imagination.  In this class, we will rediscover the wisdom we have as children and learn to apply it to enrich our daily lives.
  • Balanced Living on a Five Legged Stool:  How do you want to be in all the roles you play?  We live a multitude of roles – father, mother, brother, sister, co-worker, friend – most of the time on Auto Pilot.  Learn the five essential skills needed to live your life with purpose and intention and the powerful ingredient that brings it all together
